Unity-and-Diversity World Directory
Individuals, Groups, and Networks
cooperating through the
Unity-and-Diversity World Council

This new World Directory is further developing a long history of the Council dating back to its beginning in 1965, when the United Nations declared International Cooperation Year.   During and after that time two major activities were central to the Council's visibility: the annual World Festival and the World Directory.

The festivals have now been replaced by the annual Peace Sunday, and the World Directory will be done as an ongoing project, with a continuing presence on the website of the Unity-and-Diversity World Council as well as in a printed form.  Instead of only representing organizations, it will now also include individuals, groups, and networks.  It will be available at any time by visiting our website here at: http://www.udcworld.org/worlddirectory.htm

Entries will include a 200-word statement from professional individuals and members, as well as a 200-word statement from groups and networks in addition to organizational members.  We will be encouraging these people to participate in the emerging peoples' equivalent of the United Nations through our monthly General Assembly in Los Angeles and the Global Assembly dialog coordinated by Roger Eaton.  2-line listings are available in the back of the World Directory free of charge.  Ask about the minimal cost of the 200-word statements.

For further information, or to request a listing in the World Directory, contact the Council (UDC) at:

THE AETHERIUS SOCIETY

The Aetherius Society was founded in England in 1955 and incorporated in the USA in 1960 as a non-profit 501c3 religious, scientific, and educational organization.

It was founded by western Master of Yoga, Dr. George King, upon instruction from higher Cosmic Intelligences.  Their purpose was to inform humanity of great inevitable changes which are to come upon Earth, and to assist us in ways in which we can spiritually evolve ourselves in order to survive this paradigm shift in global conditions and consciousness.

The Society contains a vast library of Cosmic Teachings that were given to humanity through Dr. King over several decades while he adopted a Samadhic trance condition.  Many of these teachings are available on CD, audiocassette and in printed form.

The Society also performs ongoing Cosmic Missions in cooperation with Masters from beyond Earth in order to alleviate global pain and suffering, and to Help balance the collective Karma of mankind.

Membership in The Aetherius Society is open to all students who would like to learn more about these Cosmic Teachings, and who wish to assist in bringing about a Spiritual transformation upon Earth in preparation for a New Age.

INSTITUTE OF NOETIC SCIENCES -- LA

One of the 200 or 300 community groups around the world  offering seminars, workshops, Wisdom Circles and discussions in gatherings of kindred spirits inspired by the research, books and videos offered by the Institute of Noetic Science.  It is headquartered on a magnificent campus of 200 acres of rolling hills, trees and wild life in Marin County.  The Institute was founded 35 years ago by Apollo Astronaut, Dr. Edgar Mitchell, who had a life-changing spiritual experience on his return from the moon.  He was so stunned by this involuntary epiphany that he wanted to understand the part of our humanity capable of his experience of Oneness with the Divine.  He committed to building an Institute to research and integrate science and spirituality with a mission statement of "Exploring the frontiers of consciouness to further individual, social and global transformation in the world."

As IONS past President, Willis Harman said in his book, Global Mind Change, "We are living through one of the most fundamental shifts in history -- a change in the actual belief structure of Western society.  No economic, political, or military power can compare with the power of a change of mind.  By deliberately changing their images of reality, people are changing the world."  Dr. Marilyn Mandala Schlitz is the new CEO and President.
