"Health and Healing" is a section of the Unity-and-Diversity Wheel.
Health represents a state of wellness or wellbeing that is the goal of
the process of healing. At one time UDC had a "Healing Center for
the Whole Person", which worked with medical doctors, psychologists, acupuncturists,
psychic healers, and various other health and healing specialists.
While much progress has been made in the holistic health field, much remains
to be done to create a truly dynamic and balanced health care process in
our society.
UDC will continue to reach out to the many individuals and groups who
are involved in the healing process and seek to include them on this website
in one way or another. Please send names and emails of healing groups,
as well as appropriate articles. This website is in the process of
recreating "Spectrum Magazine" so that it can continue its important work
using the Unity-and-Diversity Wheel as assure its broad-based approach.
"Health and Healing" is an important part of that effort.
